The mighty leelevine.com is excited to roll into Portland at Harvey’s Comedy Club April 10-13. Portland is the land of great coffee and delicious eats and it’s a sure bet to find me at Stumptown Roasters sipping frothy espresso or the munching a burrito at the Laughing Planet Cafe.
Attention all Outlet Shoppers!
This weekend I’ll be performing my slightly irregular comedy at Bonkerz Comedy Club in Primm Nevada with the cantankerous Robert Duchaine. Two shows Friday, one on Saturday; come on out. Primm is famous for its outlet malls and legal prostitution. So whether you are in to H&M or S&M chances are you’ll have a good time.
I’ll be performing with old friends Jim Belushi & the Chicago Board of Improv this weekend Oct 4-5 at the Brea Improv. Jim Belushi is a star of television, stage & film while the Chicago Board of Improv is a regulatory agency that censures blocking and ensures that performers follow “yes and…” protocols during improv. Conveniently, the Chicago Board of Improv is unaffected by the government shutdown. All kidding aside, these guys are amazingly talented improvisers and every show unique so it’s always a pleasure to perform with them.
These shows will likely sell out so get your tickets ASAP.
Double bonus, I’m home this week and I have some great shows:
First tomorrow 8 PM at the Stillwater
in Dana Point with Stephanie Paul and some other funny people. Great food. Doors open @ 7.
Then Tuesday, October 1 @ 8 PM is a fantastic show at the Brea Improv with some of my favorite OC comics: the insanely clever Patrick Keane and brainiac comedy power couple Cate Gary & Robert Tran. I’m on the show to bring down the curve. Email me and I can add you to my guest list.
A lot of you know my B-Movie fetish. I grew up on a steady diet of Joe Bob Briggs and was raised by lax parents who weren’t disturbed that their teenager was watching Ninja III: The Domination, or Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama. So I can’t tell you how excited I am to work with Actress/Comedian Stephanie Paul who plays a prominent role in Iron Sky, the best “Nazis have been hiding on the dark side of the moon and are coming back to take their revenge” movie of our time. The show is Thursday, Sept. 26 @ 8 PM at Still Water Spirits and Sounds in Dana Point.
Looking forward to another fun Second Stage Stand Up Event. First Ron and Tom are awesome guys and always book a great show. Secondly can’t wait to see Throwing Toasters who appeared with me in the early days in San Francisco at the old One World Cafe.
Ha Ha Hanukkah, The OC’s longest running Jewish holiday showcase is back!.
